Journey to 50: Why I Started This Website
My name is Sanket. I am 36 years old, a software developer with more than 11 years of experience in web and mobile application development. For most of my career, I focused on learning technology, solving problems, and building software. Today I continue that journey while preparing to become a cloud architect and eventually an independent consultant. But this website is not only about technology. Over the last few years, I have realized that my interests go far beyond my profession. I enjoy motorcycle touring, exploring new places, understanding history, trying regional food, learning from people, and spending time in nature. I have developed a deep interest in the life and legacy of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and hope to spend many years reading, researching, visiting forts, and eventually writing a book of my own. I also dream of building a farmhouse on my ancestral land, learning farming from experienced farmers, helping my village through technology, and someday contributing to initiatives such as emergency medical support for rural communities. This website is my public journal. I am not writing as an expert. I am writing as a learner. Through this blog, I will document: My AWS and architecture journey My financial freedom journey Motorcycle rides and travel experiences Fort visits and historical research Regional food stories Farmhouse and farming experiments Lessons from books Reflections on life, family, and personal growth My goal is simple. To document the journey honestly. If these experiences help even one person learn something useful, then this website will have served its purpose. Thank you for joining me on this journey. Let's see where the road leads.
